Because of their ability to move in so many directions, our shoulders are some of the least structurally supported joints in the body. Shoulders contain many moving parts that rely heavily on muscles, ligaments and the joint capsule for support. This can cause significant movement problems if muscles become weak. If you are having shoulder issues, often what is needed is a type of ‘joint reset’ - shoulder blade (Scapulae) control and cuff strength exercises, with some flexibility exercises, as an added bonus. If executed correctly, these exercises can help restore the sequence of shoulder movement and settle some of your shoulder issues.
